One of the unique and useful things\nwe offer here at ZimmVet is Private Lessons. These can be utilized for many\ndifferent situations, or concerns. Each session is tailored to your family\u2019s specific\nneeds. Our private lessons are usually between 30 and 45 minute sessions. This\ntime period works within your dog\u2019s attention span, and will keep them willing\nto participate the entire session. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>In-Clinic Lessons<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p> We offer lessons at ZimmVet for both you, and your dog to learn together. We can use these lessons to focus on 1 or 2 specific concerns or needs, and come up with a plan of action for you to work on at home. A trainer will work one on one with your dog. These are great for things you would like your dog to brush up on, or new things you would like them to learn. We always follow these lessons up with either an in-person conversation to discuss how things went, or an email with specifics if requested. <br> Most dogs love the additional attention they receive during their stay. This is a great way to pamper your pooch!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>In-Home Lessons<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A lot of our clients LOVE this option. It is great for behaviors that only present themselves in the home environment. These lessons also work great with a busy schedule. We come to you, no need to plan on the extra drive time. These lessons can be built to specifically help you with your needs. They can provide a visual and hands-on experience to make sure that the task at hand is achievable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Other Offerings<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zimmvet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Sailor-grad.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-158\" width=\"168\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.zimmvet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Sailor-grad.jpg 960w, https:\/\/www.zimmvet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Sailor-grad-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.zimmvet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Sailor-grad-768x768.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 168px) 100vw, 168px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to private training and group sessions, \u00a0occasional seminars are also available. <br> Group sessions help build your confidence in your dog\u2019s abilities, and teach them to work through the distractions of other dogs and people. Each course follows a specific agenda, and is focused on a well behaved and well-rounded dog. Seminars are great human only events that are tailored toward one specific need or goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Kid Friendly<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike other training facilities, we are also family\noriented. We believe that a dog is a furry family member and should learn to\nrespond to everyone equally. Dogs typically view children as a new playmate,\nand will treat them as such. Children can experience more nipping and jumping\nbehaviors from your pet. Obedience classes are a great way to help build the\nfoundation of a dog that responds equally to every family member, as well as\nbuild the confidence of the children that may be experience more troubles. Our\nclasses are interactive and fun. Age appropriate children are always invited to\nparticipate! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No matter the classes you choose, I would love to spend some\ntime getting to know you and your dog. My most loved part of my career is\nwatching your pets blossom into the family member you\u2019ve always dreamed of. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>**Please contact the clinic to discuss your specific needs.
