AAHA is the only organization that evaluates and accredits small-animal veterinary hospitals in the United States and Canada. Accredited veterinary hospitals are recognized for having some of the highest levels of care in the industry and are continually leading veterinary medicine in growth and high standards for both the patients they see and the staff they employ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2018 the ZimmVet staff decided to pursue the honorary task of becoming an AAHA accredited veterinary practice. Our dedicated team worked very hard on over 900 standards of care that go above and beyond normal state and provincial regulations. ZimmVet was named an AAHA Accredited practice for the first time in April of 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2019 our Zimmvet team has worked very hard to keep up with the over 900 standards and high level of care so that we can provide the best and highest level of medicine for our patients and clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AAHA re-evaluates veterinary clinics on a regular basis to make sure the standards of care are being met, and on January 26th 2021 ZimmVet was given the title of \u201cAAHA accredited veterinary practice\u201d for the second time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To this day, only 12%-15% of veterinary practices in the US and Canada hold the \u201cAAHA-accredited\u201d title.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Kristin Rinkel, CVT ZimmVet AAHA stands for American Animal Hospital Association.
